Veep Privacy Policy

1.Information We Collect

• Account info (username, password, name)
• Sign-in details from Google or Apple, if you use them (see "Signing In with Google or Apple" below)
• Profile info you provide
• User content you post
• Communications
• Device data (cookies, analytics)
• Purchase info if applicable

2.Signing In with Google or Apple

You can create a Veep account, or sign in to one, with your Google account or your Apple Account instead of a password. We never see your Google or Apple password. With your permission, Google or Apple shares only the following with us:

• A unique account ID, which is how we recognize you the next time you sign in.
• Your email address, and whether Google or Apple has verified it. If you choose Apple's "Hide My Email", we receive a private relay address that forwards our emails to you, and never see your real one.
• Your name, if you choose to share it (Apple shares it only the first time you sign in). We use it to suggest a username and keep it with your sign-in record. It is never shown to other players: they see the username you choose.
• If you use Apple, a sign-in token that we store encrypted. It lets us ask Apple to remove Veep's access when your Veep account is deleted.
• We use this information only to create your account, sign you in, connect your sign-in to an existing Veep account that already uses the same verified email address, and send you emails about your account. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or show your email address or name to other players.
• You can stop Veep using your Google sign-in at https://myaccount.google.com/connections and your Apple sign-in in your Apple Account settings under Sign in with Apple, or at https://account.apple.com. Deleting your Veep account removes this information, and for Apple we also ask Apple to remove Veep's access.
• Google's and Apple's own privacy policies cover how they handle the sign-in itself: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
• Veep's use of information received from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements: https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy

3.Playing as a Guest

In the Veep apps for iPhone and Android you can play as a guest without creating an account. A guest account has no email address, password or birthday.

• We create an account named "Guest" and a number, record that you agreed to these policies and the IP address you agreed from, and keep your veeps, coins and progress on our servers, like any account.
• The app keeps you signed in with a cookie on your device. If you sign out or delete the app before saving your account, the guest account cannot be reached again.
• A guest is kept off the public leaderboards and the Community page, and cannot add friends, send messages or gifts, or battle other players in the Battle League.
• You can save your account at any time from the app's Menu or Settings by choosing a username, email address, password and birthday. Everything you have is kept.
• Signing out of a guest account deletes it and everything in it straight away. A guest account nobody has opened for 30 days is deleted automatically.

4.How We Use Information

Provide and improve the Service, personalize experience, communicate with you, and analyze usage.

5.Sharing Information

We may share with service providers, analytics tools, when required by law, or with your consent.

6.Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies; refusing them may affect functionality.

7.Data Security

We use commercially reasonable measures but cannot guarantee 100% security.

8.Account Deletion

Request account deletion in-app (Settings → Delete Account) or by emailing support@veep.site. Data will be permanently removed unless retention is legally required.
